‘Having previously worked overseas in the travel business I returned to Ireland 11 years ago, looking for a new and fulfilling career. I found it with The Relocation Bureau. I look forward to liaising with our clients on a daily basis, helping them to solve some of the same issues and overcome similar challenges I faced when I lived overseas. It is such a great feeling, knowing you are helping people settle into Ireland and that you are making that transition period a little easier for them. My job is very fulfilling and it also keeps my language skills current as we deal with so many nationalities.’
Before arriving in Ireland, I had the pleasure of working for 10 years in the Relocation industry in Dubai, after moving there from my home town in Scotland. During my time in Dubai, I enjoyed assisting many wonderful people from all corners of the globe with all their relocation requirements and always strived to make sure their relocation was as successful and stress free as possible. Since arriving in Ireland, I am thoroughly enjoying living in the friendly city of Dublin and exploring all that Ireland has to offer. I am delighted to be part of the caring and fun-loving team at The Relocation Bureau, where we do our very best to help all our clients with a personal touch and focus on each person as an individual with unique needs and requirements.
Having worked for many years in the Financial Services Industry, I am now enjoying being part of a very professional and dynamic team in the Relocation Bureau. I initially started working with the Relocation Bureau some months ago as a Project Manager and enjoyed the experience so much that I accepted a job of Accounts Manager which turned out to be very interesting and varied and is a great opportunity to interact with a wide varied of people and assist them in all aspects of their Relocation.
Anne Barry – Administrator
I have worked in administration in the Relocation industry for the past 14 years and really enjoy the great variety of work involved. There are so many opportunities to work with people from different industries and cultures and also the added advantage of working with a great team in The Relocation Bureau so no two days are the same. I previously lived in London for a number of years so understand the challenges clients face moving to a new country.
Having worked in the property industry for 10 years, I understand exactly what the requirements are when finding that perfect new home.
I really enjoy new challenges and get great satisfaction in assessing the assignee and their requirements when making that move to Ireland. Meeting such a diverse range of people and cultures is interesting and educational as no two assignees are the same. I love to share the local knowledge of the great facilities and amenities that are available in this great Country. I love meeting new people and cultures and this is why this is the perfect job for me. ‘
I have vast experience in relocation having lived and worked abroad for over 10 years with extended periods in Australia, Bahrain and Sweden. As an airline cabin crew member at Gulf Air I have great insights on travelling, different nationalities and cultures. I understand the challenges of having to find your feet in a new place. I also have a strong account management pedigree having worked in sales for Golden Pages for eight years, in a role which dealt with many types of businesses across Ireland.
‘I joined The Relocation Bureau as it was a perfect way to combine my experience and skills. I consider myself an open-minded versatile person and am passionate about supporting people in any way I can. I take great pride in what I do which always starts with tuning-in to the needs and concerns of our clients, as no two situations are the same.
We take the opportunity to give people a really good experience of coming to Ireland. It’s a stressful time for people but working with us at The Relocation Bureau makes this process as easy and smooth as possible’.
Having lived in Dublin, London and now Co. Kildare, I have experienced the relocation process first hand, and understands the questions and concerns involved. As a mother of four children I fully understand how important choosing the right location, school and home is for our clients. I have a natural interest in, and compatibility with, people of all age groups. In mu role as a Relocation Consultant, I meet and assists a wide spectrum of individuals and families and help them to get settled into their new locations and homes. My priority is for the client to feel welcome and guided every step of the way.
I moved from Dublin to Co. Westmeath a number of years ago so I know exactly what is involved in the moving process. While it can be exciting settling in with all the family, getting to know the local community, making new friends, finding the right schools and so on, there certainly can be hurdles that seem insurmountable at the time. My personal experience and first hand knowledge of how smaller communities function outside of the major cities of Ireland would be invaluable to our clients. I would like to share all I have learned with our clients and therefore make the move for them just a little easier!’
